Defeating these mini-bosses can reward you with stat upgrades or larges lumps of cash. This could be a huge skeleton who throws 4 bones at a time, or a massive Flamelock that fills the screen with fire. Some rooms will contain a heavily upgraded version of an enemy you've already seen. You are unable to try again using the Architect and must start on a new dungeon. ![]() Here you can give up 25% of your gold, then have a 1 in 3 chance to get back triple what you paid. Win by leaving 10 targets or less in the room. Axe Challenge: Hit as many targets with 5 axes.Unlike the Chest Rooms, you won't be able to retry this with the Architect and must start on a new dungeon. These are themed around carnival challenges, like hitting targets and clearing rooms in as few throws as possible. These allow you to compete in one of two mini-games for the chance to win some serious cash. Reach Me in : Must reach the chest in the alloted time.Take No Damage: Must reach the chest without getting hit once.Defeat All Enemies: You must kill all enemies in the room to complete this objective.You cannot attack in any way or else fail the objective. No Fighting: Must reach the chest while avoiding enemies.If you reach a dead end, you will have to jump back out, thus failing the objective. No Jumping: Usually takes place in a maze-like room, requiring you to drop down towards the chest.Using the Architect, you can save the room for later runs if you cannot get the chest the first time around. Failing an objective will lock the chest until your character dies. Sometimes an objective will only be completed if you have the neccesary runes, spells, or class abilities. This objective could be killing all enemies, taking no damage, or one of several others. In these rooms you will have to complete a certain Objective to open a Fairy Chest, almost always containing a Rune or Recipe. ![]()
